    peep issue

hey every one im new to bow hunting and was wondering why when i draw my bow on occasion one of the stings is in my peep. this doest happen all the time just every once in a while... is it me or do i need to adjust something. thank you in advance for any advice.

That's not normal and shouldn't happen. You can use some serving around the peep body in the groove and that may help. If you have a bow press or can get a shop to do it, I would press the bow, mark the string with the peep location, remove the peep, wax the string, draw and let down a few times, maybe shoot a few arrows (just to work the string back to it's natural twist where you have the one flyer), reinstall the peep making sure the string sits in the notches correctly, and serve it.

When I think about your question though, I really don't know how a strand could end up in the peep unless it were frayed.

If you are using a 3 strand peep, this is gonna happen occasionally.
You can go to a 2 strand peep, and have it installed to turn corrctly when drawn.
