just picked up shooting a bow this winter and lOve it, I am shooting a much older Jenson though, I am guessing 2001 ish,
is there a too old stage?
I took it to a pro and had a new string and peep sight put on it, it shoots well for my unknowledgeable hand, feels safe but I have zero perspective.
I think it's not about a "too old" stage. It's more about a "new technology" stage. I hadn't picked up my bow in years and went out and treated myself to a new one. It is simply amazing how much has changed. Once you get good and comfortable, go shoot some new bows and you'll understand what I mean.
1973 Allen Compound, Mdl. 7306, 40# - 50#, 29 1/2", Ser. 73110501. Had it re-stung a year ago this month. Still shoots great! But due to a bad shoulder, had to retire it for a crossbow w/cocking string. Newest of which is a 2010 Barnett Jackel. C'ya : )
