I bought some beman mfx micro arrows. My field tips and rage mechanicals don't screw all the way in because of micro shaft. Is this how they were designed to be shot or do I need some sort of accessory? Was shooting beman ics...... will these arrows change whole dynamics of my setup?

The insert is flush with end of arrow! Good ol BPS in Shreveport does it again! Should have asked y'all about these before I drove 1 1/2 hours to stand at archery table for 45 minutes waiting to be helped only to have them Jack my arrows up! Reminds me of when I got a haircut at a wal-mart by a laid off brick layer! He jacked my hair up so bad just shaved it off myself!!! Going to have to take em back I guess?

Yep they messed them up. The inserts on those arrows are supposed to be inset in the shaft. There is a little tool that has the exact length already set so you just glue and use the tool to push it down then let them dry. Did they already cut them? The ones I bought already had the insert in but I had them cut to my length which removed the old insert, so I just glued in new ones.

great arrows...if you trim your own arrows to size, you need to REMOVE the insert BEFORE you cut to length...propane torch and a fpoint installed, heat the area where the insert is a little til' you can pull the tip out...uses hot melt glue to put back in, or rod tip glue also...to re-install, screw fpoint into insert first and back it out about2 threads visible, put some hot melt on the insert, not too much to make it messy, then force the tip back into the shaft and viola!!!...
I cut my own arrows and use the mfx's too....
