    New sight

I got a new sight today and thought I was getting a .019 pin size but ended up getting a .010 size was just wondering what the smaller pin size was used for

Long range, so the pin covers less target.
I guess it could be uesd for some sort of precise indoor stuff.

yep. long distance. I also just got a new sight with the .019 pins. I don't think I would be able to see them if they were any smaller

So would it make short range easier as well? As long as I can see it?

The older you get and the more blind you get the bigger the pin size needs to be!

I have the .01 pins on my sight and love them most of the time. The allow me to be much more percise on my aiming at all ranges. The only down side is when the sun is behind me. The pin bleeds out and I can't see it hardly at all.

In my opinion, there is no place in bowhunting for a .010 pin.
If you need a pin that small, it is too far, and in low light, (if you want to aim precise), you can't see it.
But, like elbows, this is just my opinion, and others differ.
