My dad lost his right eye in a hunting accident a few years ago and my two brothers are still to young to pull back a bow. I want them to go hunting with me when i go bow hunting so i decided to buy them a crossbow. It will be my dads birthday present. I work at academy so that is where i will be buying it. I look at that recurve one i think it is call the c-5 but i dont no if i is any good or just buy a more expensive one. I dont no anything about crossbows what do yall think?

IMO the trad style is ALOT more quite than the compound!
But slower. -
I just picked my Pop up a Jennings compound. Shot it today for the first time and it is LOUD! Fast but loud. It will do him fine because he won't be shooting over 20 yards and B4 the deer can respond the bolt will be through them (IMO).
The one you have on sale right now for I think $278ish should be great for what you are looking for.
