How difficult is it to change out cams to wheels?

How this happened, don't really know, but I found a hairline crack in one of my cams on my compound and not sure if it was a manufacturer malfunction or overuse. Have any of you changed out the pulley system on your bow and if so, how difficult was it? Would it be an advantage to let a bow shop change it out.

    Thanks

Considering how you worded your question, I'm going to say, definitely have a bow shop do the work.

Why not just replace the cracked cam with a new one. changing the eccentrics from oblong to round might create some serious issues on the limbs, DL, string travel, ATA and a host of other problems.

if your talking about changing to a new cam of the exact same brand and design you'd still need a press to get that done.

if your talking about changing an entirely different cam system I'd personally not even consider it.

either way pro shop is the answer.
