Shot one last week. Just sold my Mathews and will be buying the Assassin next week. Still trying to decide between the 60lb or the 70lb.

Very smooth and quiet. Very dead in the hand

This is an awsome bow I shot it next the the outlaw both at 70lbs and the assassin is amazing very smooth on the draw and dead in the hand a lil bit of string noise but other than that it was awsome, and the grip I wasnt a big fan of how it felt in the hand as far as the grip went.... on the out law it was a lil rough coming out of the valley theres a lil hump in it but after pulling it back a few times ii didnt notice it, a lil bit of hand vib and a lil bit of string noise but when we put an octane stabilizer it felt as good as the assasin and it might just be me but between the two even tho it says it 3fps slower than the assassin i felt as if it actually shot a lil faster.. but at 549 riged out for the out law and 599 for the assassin it was a hard toss up but in the end if i were to get either one i would deffinatly change out the stabilizer and the rest for sure on both and i might even lean a little more towards the outlaw due to the grip felling better in the hands...and the fact that after switching out the stabilizer and it nocked out the shock from the shot and its supper accurate as well..

But try them both out and see what you think too...

I shoot the Assasin and all the things stated are true. No had shock and very smooth and accurate. I am not a fan of the hostage rest, the brushes wear out too fast. I have replace the rest with a RipCord Code Red and have not had any problems.

My brother and sisters chipped in to buy a new bow for our dad on fathers day. He was replacing a 12 yr old Martin. After shooting the Bowtech Invasion, Z7, and a couple of Martin bows he went with the Assassin. He is very pleased. I shot it a few times as well and I'm thinking about getting one myself. Chronoed it at 290 fps @ 60lbs and a 30" draw length before he left the bowshop. Very good bow. Forgot to mention he also replaced the Hostage rest with a ripcord.

Man, I'm really torn now. I'm looking to get a new bow and I'm leaning towards the Assassin or Destroyer 340. Sadly I'm a lefty and not as many bow shops carry left handed bows in stock. Maybe they'll let me shoot a righty so that I can at least get a feel for this.

The Assassin may just be too good of a deal to pass up. Though it sounds like most folks upgrade the stabilizer and rest right away.

I put down my 350 for the Assassin. Mainly because I'm vertically challenged but I like the feel of the Assassin better. Smooth, Fast, dead in hand. Changed out the rest for the QAD. No complaints from this BowTech fan.

It's a SHOOTER! It was almost hard for me to justify the extra $ for the Invasion. Almost.

Thanks DoubleG! I'm planning to come up your way on Friday. I spoke to you on the phone yesterday looking for Redhead Kronik limbs. Do you have the lefty Assassins in black or camo?

I'm almost sold on the Assassin; as long as it feels as good as everyone says it does, I don't think I could pass it up. I've got the money for the Destroyer 340 if I want to go that route, but it just doesn't seem like there's enough of a performance increase over the Assassin to justify the extra $200 (not to mention all of the accessories).
