    Can't get sighted in

I am trying to get my bow sighted in. I bought the bow used, but have put a new sight on it. I have been shooting high. I've moved the sight and the pin as high as possible, still shooting high. The only thing I can think of is maybe the nocking point or the rest?

Any suggestions? If it's the nocking point, is that hard to adjust?

    Thanks for any help.

I'm not an expert but have fought with this myself...
First.. make sure your peep (if your using one) is in the correct position.. having someone mark a spot on your string with you at full draw and in a comfortable anchor.
Second.. make sure your rest and nock are level (there are cheap levels/devices to help with this.)

Sounds like you need to adjust your and your nock to allow you to move your sight down into a position where you can adjust it..its useless if you can't adjust the sight's height and even more useless if your pins are at a full position not allowing for any micro adjustment.
    good luck.

Thank you. I talked to a friend, he's bringing over his bow square tomorrow. I have a peep (it was on the bow) I don't use it, should I be trying to or is it really necessary?

Would you shoot an open sighted rifle without the rear sight?
As always, we will need more information to help diagnose your problem.

Rocky, thank you for the advice. I am actually getting close to where I want to be now.

A quick trip to the bow shop would fix you right up!
