    Helical

I know helical on arrows is a lot of preference. I was just thinking about buying a helical clamp for my bitzenburger. I have
Always used the straight clamp. Just wandering if I buy a helical clamp should. I buy a right or left helical. I shoot right handed. Just wandering what your preference was. Thanks.

For a compound it really doesn't matter and for plastic vanes it makes do difference... feathers come from the left wing or the right wing... hence Right wing clamps and left wing clamps... I've always used a right wing because it is easier to find right winged feathers...

I like right helical...less tendency to loosen your points after repeated shooting.

If you are shooting a longbow or recurve, go with a helical that spins away from your riser. If you are shooting a compound, it doesnt make a difference.
