    The tab on Easton nocks

My easton nocks all have a little sliver of plastic on the side. Looked at some older eastons and they had it too. Dont see it on my boning our carbon express nocks. Is it just flashing from the mold? It looks too defined for that. Is it to help index your arrows in the dark? Any other ideas?

You got it..............index mark. This helps for knocking them in the dark or in the light if you only use one color fletching.

The index mark is great! It allows you to use the same color vanes too!
