    I looked at the Easton shaft selector and went all the way down to 27 in and it still showed I need a 400 spine .I don't understand . But Ill check into 3/4 more off but what about changing arrows . And with what I have now how difference will 28 in be

      I guess you should trust the chart.
      I'm one of the old guys that errs on the stiff side, as I've seen no negative effects on most bows.
      I could be way off base, so trust the chart and your local pro-shop.

        I too am with Rocky on erring on the stiff side. At 28" arrow length, I use 75/95 GT XT Hunters, but with the high FOC I have, i get it from adding 150 grian of insert weights which drastically will affect the spine, hence the stiffer than recommended shaaft.
