    Decent for 50 yards?

I don't know good this is but shooting at 40 and 50 yards has really helped my confidence at 20 and 30. I'd shoot more but I'm sure the people across the street don't want me standing in their yard

I would be happy with that. I have never shot past 40 yds.

I shoot at 40 so i can shoot great at 20. It seems to me that when i practice at 40 that when i move to 20 the target looks huge and easy to hit. Practicing at a longer distance makes you slow down and really concentrate. One of the things i like to do is shoot at balloons. I buy water balloons at the local dollar store. blow them up and they are the size of a heart. i tape them to my deer target and aim for that. is fun and makes me concentrate on the heart area....Shoe

Common man be realistic your groups at 40 are more like the broad side of a barn

I've shot at 40 couple of times and do decent, with in a pie plate, but I don't see myself taking anything longer than a 40yd shot, maybe on a public hunt...looks good though....it'd prolly bleed pretty good if you stuck something...

I practice a lot at 50 yards, mostly sitting; it really helps on the 20-30 yard shots.
