    Carbon Matrix vs. Carbon element

Can anyone tell me the differences in these bows besides the specs I've gathered off the Hoyt site. Just wondering why one would choose one over the other or is it a matter of last years model vs. this years. Anyone? Price comparisons would be beneficial

3 inches ATA shorter for the CE. The CE would probably be more suited to a ground blind or treestand hunting set up, and the CM is more suited to target shooting. They use the same technology, and they are very close in speed, brace height and weight. IMO either will work fine for whatever you decide to use them for.

Thank you. I have Z7E and love it but would like to test one of these. I wanted something for target shooting and hunting and wanted to try a duel cam. I've seen the outdoor channel tv shows and maybe it's the selling propaganda. Just wanted to know what people thought about the two and which one to test. I dought many bow shops have both.

I shot the CM last year when they came out. It shot well, really well but I thought the draw was a little harsh for my tastes. Also didn't care for the 35" ata, not that I prefer extremely short ata bows. I decided against getting one considering the $1600 price tag. I was hoping that they would come out with a version with a little bit shorter ata which they did. The CE is smooth, queit, and well balanced and cheaper.
