    Getting rid of the peep

Dumb question probably..but is there anything special needed to remove a peep sight? Is it as simple and using a razor to cut the string tying it on, being careful to stay away from the bow string of course. It's not something that I have to go to the bow shop for is it? Not like that would be a big deal.

I bought a used anchor sight I want to try out. Looking through the peep with both eyes open makes the pins blur/double so I thought I'd try the anchor sight out.

    Close your non shooting eye?

That works but I want to shoot with both open for better vision.

The best way is to use a bow press and string splitter, the bow press decreases the tension on the strings making it easy to take out the peep but when installing it gives you the advantage of splitting the string evenly and reduces you from fraying the line.

be sure to mark the string where your peep goes in case you dont like it. Then you can put it back in the same spot!
