    Deer stands

I was wondering what yall might have thought is a good stand that would be confortable for my wife? She is scared of hights but she is ready to hunt and dont have alot of funds to build her a box blind at the moment.

Could always get a good inexpensive pop-up

Yah if im not sitting with her in it wont happen. She is scared the pigs will mess with it while shes in it. She hasnt been hunting long.

X2. Ground blind. Killzone makes some cheap ones. I have one and it's a good one for the price ($100).

Would she be nervous to hunt out of an 8' or 10' tripod?

See she told me that getting up in it aint the problem its coming down. I have a 15ft tripod out on our place already. Sunday i am hoping to go out and set her up a feeder and stand.

She is climbing up and down without anything in her hands right?

If the tripod (any height) is out of the question, maybe a short base (tall enough to ease her mind about the hogs) to set a pop-up on. Probably build one pretty cheap.

or maybe someone has an old playground that you can salvage or cut up to make a small little box blind..or an old water tank..you can pretty much make a blind out of anything

If you're around any BIG electrical contractors, check with them for a big wire spool... would be perfect to set a pop-up on...

Get creative. If she's not into heights or pop-ups, go find yourself some pallets. You'd be surprised what you can design out of those and they are usually readily available.

I was at Ft. Worth Cabelas yesterday and noticed that they had the Primos predator den on sale for $99. It looked sharp with the predator deception camo.
