    Backpack for bow & stand

I have my ladder stand that get setup and left in one spot for most of season on our family's land in SE Texas. Now, I want to start doing some hog hunting on public land. So, I purchased a cheaper tree stand and climbing sticks on Sportsmanguide.com.

So if I am gonna pack a tree stand, climbing sticks, and my bow in and out each time, what options do I have to help with the transport? I have seen a backpack for the bow that doubles as a backrest in the tree stand, but, that doesn't help me pack the stand in.

    What do y'all use?

bought this for my girlfriends brother for christmas and he loves it. It has a lot of pockets and ties so you have room for everything you need. It will hold your bow, or your gun, has pockets for arrows, and a seat integrated into the back for spot and stalking or sitting on the ground. It had a flashlight integrated into the shoulder straps so one less thing to carry and its very bright. Has a spot for a camel back water sack but unfortunately does not come with one you just have to buy one. There are some really neat features to it and will do just about anything you need and hold everything you can want to make a hunt easier. It is running about 119.99 but the person i bought it for loves it with no complaints. hope this helps.

IMO you should pack the stand/sticks and get a bow sling to carry the bow with. One like this is very useful in all situations that you need to carry your bow.

Look into Badlands packs, lifetime warranty on them and they want you to abuse 'em...I'm prolly pickin' one up this spring for next season...they aren't cheap but you buy it once and be done with it...

That's what I use when I'm packin' my 6ft tripod, back pack and bow, very effective and can be packed away very nicely when removed from the bow...

I use a climbing tree stand that is aluminum, I hook my backpack over it and use a Primos bow sling for the bow, that way I have use of my hands for holding a flashlight or what ever need be. If I could not use my climber then I would get game cart and customize it to suit my needs. I have seen where a ladder stand had wheels attached and it was used as a game/gear cart.
