Want to hear any input on a Rytera Alien X

I am in the market to buy a new bow and as everyone always says "go shoot as many bows as you can and then decide", well I started my journey yesterday to start shooting bows and see what felt right to me, I have another archery shop that I'm still going to visit and shoot at. I have been shooting an older Bowtech so everything I shoot seems to have improvements to me. I shot a PSE Vendetta, Rytera, few other Martins and a few bows that I didn't care for at all. I was really drawn to the Rytera Alien X, it felt smooth, and I liked the way it draws, the model I shot was a 2010 and the guy still had 1 left, does anyone know if the 2011 will have any major changes from the 2010? I had never even heard of Rytera until yesterday, I had heard of all the other "major brands" but never the name Rytera ( I understand it is made by Martin). Please give me your input if you have one or have shot one, also what other bows do I need to put on my "make sure I shoot" list.
    Thanks & God Bless

seems like everyone is Matthews,Hoyt,Bowtech,or Elite. I shoot Martins w pride. Yes. Rytera is Martins sister company. Just as Diamond is to Bowtech,Mission to Matthews, etc. I haven't shot the Alien X, but I have shot the Nemesis(2010). Shot like a dream, dead in the hand, and very accurate. Not sure on 2011 models though.

the pro shops I go to are more than happy to come off the '10 models just slightly above their cost. New bow @HUGE savings. The Nemesis was priced @ $749. It was offered to me @ $500 a week after the owner returned from the trade show.

might be worth asking about. Post pics and info when you get it.

i have 4 alien xs and love them they are smooth to draw, very fast, and just feel good to me, and i think they are one of the best looking bows out there. as far as i know rytera didn't make any changes on the 2011 s. they added a new bow to there line it is called the seeker, and it is an all new consept for ajustability. go to the rytera web site and check it out, rytera.com. they also have the alien z which has a longer ata , and the alien nemesis it has a bridged riser simirler to the hoyt good luck you want go wrong with the aliens !

I shoot Martin and love them. They are an upper tier bow for Martin. I have not shot one but have heard a lot of great things about them. Go to archery talk and there is page after page about them.

what are you shootin? I've got a Cougar 3 w nitrous cams and 2010 Cheetah mag.

definitely look hard into Martin bows. Best value/features for the money and top notch customer service. I believe Archery Talk is owned by Martin.

My son has an 08 Cheetah and I have an 07 Bengal and 08 MOAB. All are super smooth and very quiet and you can't beat the price.

No new changes to the Alien X line. They talked about making the handle thinner but never happend. Like stated above, the Seeker is the new bow for 2011. There are 2 concept bow in the makes now. Not sure if they will be available this year. If you have any questions about the bow, feel free to give me a call.
