It depends on how long you want your arrow, on the Goldtip chart it looks like over 28" you go up to 7595. I used 5575s at 27.5" on a 70lb. bow and they worked fine, but thats probably too short for your 29" draw length, especially if it's for hunting(keep the broadhead out there a little bit). D

If you are shooting a .340 spine now the go with a 75/95 (.340) GoldTip and you'll be good to go..

Why do you want to switch? You will get more speed out of the Flatlines and more KE out of the Gold Tips. Both great Arrows.

Ive been shootin' the GT 5575s for about 2 years and they are still going strong with 100gr tips...and I flex 'em pretty often for safety's sake....they are a pretty durable shaft...I started with a Martin Jaguar, them moved to a Z7 and both bows were at 68-70lbs with a 28"dl...

The goldtips are the same weight as the flat lines at 8.2. I shoot goldtips out of my raptor 29/70 at 28 inches without any problems even with fixed blade broadheads. I do not go with the prohunters, just could not justify the cost vs the xthunters. You should not notice any difference. The .400 spine at 28 inches would be fine. If you go to longer would stick with the .340 spine especially with broadheads.

Check your actual draw weight and see what you are pulling. I shot GoldTip 5575 but am only pulling 61 lbs on my BowTech. and 64 on my Mathews. But am also of the fan of don't fix what isn't broke

I shoot 72 lbs and shoot a 75/95 XT Hunter. I like the added weight per inch and they are awesome tough. Fly great and hit hard.
