    Arrow Question

I know this question is going to be personal preference, but wanted some inputs from you guys. I shoot a 29 inch arrow at 60#. Trying to figure out if I want to switch to the 55/75 nugent gold tips or the new Carbon Express Mayhem Hunters. Do ya'll have any suggestions or opinions on the matter to add to the research I've been doing? Thanks

With today's bows there is more to selecting the correct shaft then just the draw length and draw weight. Just as with pickups a V8 isn't always just a V8 some have 200 hp and others have 350 hp.. so the design of the cam/cams and limbs become critical when selecting the spine of the arrow.

I shoot the 55/75 Gold Tip XT. I prefer the all black shafts and have been shooting them for 10 years. They are very durable and still reasonably priced.

You mean there's a difference between a Pearson Ultra and a Bowtech Destroyer both at 60 lbs and the same draw length?

I have a half dozen of the mayhems and do not like them, they are inaccurate wont hold group and there 29 inches and i pull 68lbs. I would go with gold tip pro hunter ...dont know about the nugents

Nice question. I was thinking about switching as well. I currently shot FMJ's and while they are great arrows I am wanting a little bit more speed out of my set up.( I mean, just how many times do you need to shoot through the same animal) Thinking about going to the Mayhems myself or maybe the Maxima Hunter KV ( both 8.9 grains per inch) 62# @ 27inches. I know Lee anf Tiffany use the Mayhem so they have to be good
