    Bowtech Assassian

I'm looking at getting back into bow hunting. It's been 20 years since I used a recurve. I've already shot the Bowtech Assassian an it feels pretty good. Appears to be a pretty decent package in the price range I'm looking for. I'm looking for some input on this bow from current owners and such. Thanks fellas...

I shot this bow and it is great. My nephew just purchased this bow and couldnt be happier. Extremely smooth draw and FAST.

I think you cannot get a better bow for that price range.

I just got my Assassin its a great shooting bow and has some speed. The accessories that come on it are not that great, but will work until you upgrade. The bow is still worth the price without them.

Didn't know you had got one.......... guess I'll see it at the 3-D range

I'll agree with the others, dollar for dollar there aint a better bow on the market PERIOD! I just bought a Destroyer350 and like it..........but like the Assassin better for $200 LESS.... LOADED (of course so upgrades, would be nice, but not a must)

I purchased this bow back in December, I had it set at 66lb and found it difficult to get over the "hump", (but I was not used to a 80% let off bow or a newer style of set-up was shooting a 1994 PSE.) I have since lowered the bow down to 63lb and have no problem pulling it back with ease. I upgraded the rest to a QAD pro and the sight to a single pin Tru Glo range rover. I smoked a slick head over the Christmas holidays and it was fast, quiet and she made it 40yds before piling up. Overall I am happy with my purchase and it was in my price range. good luck with your decision

Same Specs. as a Z and half the price. Great way to get back into the greatest sport on earth. IMO!

I just bought this bow about a week ago, I'm Wellington,Tx's nephew. Its my first bow, and I'm already shooting pretty decent groups. I did upgrade to a drop away rest while at Cinnamon Creek, and I could not be happier. Great bow for the money, I love it.

I would also look at the Diamond Dead Eye. It is a single cam Destroyer 340 from what i can tell with more KE. I talked to one guy and he said it will be in the $600.00 range for the complete package.
