I did a direct comparison between the Marauder and Sniper as far as brightness and ability to see out to distances and the Sniper wins hands down.

Really I thought it was just the opposite. I thought the sniper had more flood where the maurader was much brighter. I also did direct comparison last May.

From HD1234 vids and using the Marauder tonight I think I would like the mini sniper because it is evenly bright throughout the circle. The marauder is more of a beam and then dim light around it. I won't complain because they both work great!!
