    Arrows in my bow case

So I bought a new bow case, and gave my old one to Twerpy to protect her shiny new bow that she got for Christmas.

I often load everything in the back of the truck (which is a 2500, so the ride is rough too), so I was looking for a rugged case, that is also weatherproof; my answer is the Plano All Weather Bow Case

I'm pretty excited about it, it's very robust, and the weather proof claims seem legitimate, based upon my inspection (full o-ring gasket, beefy polymer material). It also stood up to me sitting on it, without deforming.

My quandary is that when I do travel, when I open it, my arrows resemble 'pick-up-sticks'

My arrows are the Easton ST Axis which are admittedly pretty skinny.

Is there a better way of securing them in my case, without adding a bulky arrow case, or having to carry them in a separate carrier?

    Open to ideas here.

Push your arrow harder down in the holder, there is a standard carbon slot and a smaller slot in the arrow holder, ur just not pushing the arrows all the way down

get you one of those $5 cloth quivers and put them inside of it and the quiver in the bowcase

First of all, do a search on how much stuff gets stolen out of the back of peoples trucks and you won't carry it back there any more.

Second......... if you have a detachable quiver, put your arrows in there when they are in the bow case.

Thanks for all the replies, and some good ideas

Indeed the holders do have a second slot. It sure is snug though, I think I ruined an arrow trying to get it to snap in (I'll flex test it tonight to be sure)

Now to figure out if a little Teflon spray will help me from ruining more arrows, or if I need to do some sanding on the holder to modify it slightly.

I'm not going to mount a quiver on this bow, since I always carry my backpack when I hunt, the search is on for one to mount there. I think the Tarantula quiver might fit the bill, I need to order one to find out.

As for carrying stuff in the back of the truck, it only rides there to the lease, I don't stop along the way. Its tough to steal doing 70 . Theft is the reason I don't keep anything of value in my toolbox, nor do I lock it.

same here but when I push them In I give them a slight turn forward and they seem to go in easier than trying to push force them straight down and in.

Great bow case. I was in a rollover accident in an SUV and the case was tossed all around the vehicle then one people that helped get us out tossed it out of the way on the side of the highway. Luckily we were unharmed and after I noticed the case was just scratched a little, opened the case and the bow seemed was unharmed. One strap that helps hold the bow secure was broken. Took the bow to my local shop and had it checked out, not even a scratch. I will continue to use this case until it falls apart, great product.

                  Fiddled with it some more.

Had to do some shaping on one slot that was too darn snug, then coated it all with a Teflon lube, and they go in nicely, while still held firm.

                  I'm pretty darn happy.

Good to hear that the case is so durable, I'm hoping for many years of rough service.
