    stabilizer ?????

    Is longer really better?

I got a 3" donker but thinking of upgrading to 6" maybe 7" donker.... I don't want to go too big

will it really help with performance?

I doubt you would ever notice the difference unless your bow is falling back after shot!

I have had around a 3-6" stabalizer for 2 years and it's worked out perfect.

Use witch everone helps keep your bow balanced through the shot.

I have a short stabilzer on my hunting bow, or simply my Hawg Lite.

My target bow has a 24" stabilizer with no weight on the front end. It is a Doinker and I even replaced the weighted end cap with lightweight rubber cap. My single Doinker back bar is 10" and counterbalances the weight of the scope. Stabilzers are for mostly reducing vibration and making the bow feel dead in your hand. Weights and lengths are based on your draw length and draw weight. Parallel limb bows have different requirements than traditional limb bows, usually less, but they still need them. All bows vibrate!
For more information, try www.doinker.com and click on "how it works" tab.
I tried out many lengths and weights before figuring out which worked best with my set up and making a purchase.

I have found that my accuracy is better with a 7"-11" stab, I just have to get the weight/length right..... I have a Bowjax Maxjax 7" stab right now that I really like.... Sims makes a modular stabilizer that you can configure to different lengths/weights and experiment.

8-12 inch for me does the best.

I'm shooting an 8" posten right now and it keeps the bow very stable through the shot

I use a 7" 6.5-7 oz doinker on my rig.

After the shot, the bow is still dang near straight up and down.
