    swap out manual drop

I received a whisker biscuit during christmas and now want to remove my manual drop. The problem I have is there is a cable from the drop to one of the cables. I am afraid to mess with the cables.

Since this is my first bow I am worried about cutting the cable and it blowing up in my face.

Should I take it to Gander or a local bow shop?

Any idea from the green screen?

I think it might be best if you take it to a bow shop. The drop rest rope should just be served into you limb cable. But if you don't have the right gear to do it you might cause some serious damage to the cables.

I would highly recommend that you take this bow to a real pro shop, and not to Gander Mountain. You might find that you're better off with the existing drop away than with the new Whisker Biscuit.

Thanks guys. I will start looking for a local bow shop.

I want to go with the whisker biscuit cuz my arrow comes off the drop away easily when stalking. I'm new to bowhunting and want to eliminate any errors I can so I can drop something in the dirt.

I would recommend that you take a good look at a RipCord or a QAD first. They are full containment drop away rests and work like a million bucks.

Stick with the biscuit, they can't fail.

I'm in the same boat so your not crazy. I'm taking off my drop away to try a biscuit I got a sweet deal on one new in box. I like the idea of full containment and want to try one out just because. before I go to a different drop away if I do
