I bought a Barnett Jackyl and it shoots really fast and accurate. I havent fired it at any game so I'm a little leary of the noise and their reaction to it. Does anyone have input on the matter. Is there a way to limit the noise? Is it even worth putting limb savers? Im going to Chaparell in January for the crossbow hunt and want to know what to expect. Thanks.

I figured someone else would have chimed in. My dads x-bow sounds like a .22 mag and goes dang near as fast. I wouldn't worry about noise as long as the the vibration doesn't affect your shot. If you are hitting the mark, don't worry about noise and just squeeze that trigger.Comment
