    Bitzenberger Fletching Tool

Will this tool fletch both 3" and blazers with the same clamp? I'm looking at buying a fletching tool that will do both. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I bought mine 8 years ago and to this date it's the best money ever spent. I use lock tite super glue gel and you can fletch a dozen in about 20 minutes.

    GREAT product!

Do you know if it will do both 3" and 2" vanes?

The coolest thing about a Bitz, is that once you get it set, it will fletch any size arrow with any length vane!

After all my research and asking about these I think I'm gonna pick up the bitz. I look forward to making my own arrows. Just got my wraps in from Cameron at Crest and I'm dying to see how they look. Thanks for the info fellas!

Yup, I even do 1.5 inch x-vanes. The trick is to use an extra vane in front of the one that you are actually gluing on to keep the clamp concentric to the vane and shaft.

the only thing to remember is that there is a straight clamp and a helical clamp. some blazers can be tough to get lined up with the helical.

my old ones (without the logo printed on them) have a flatter base and are less forgiving. the newer ones have a cuped base and work fine.

you can buy one bitz base and 2 clamps also.

this bitz upgrade is a must have though. with the factory piece I can never get the arrow lined up correctly to replace just one fletch. this piece is much more precise

No problem with Blazer and the Bitz right helical here.....there are quicker tools to fletch but none better in my opinion as far as a quality job.

I figure the Bitz will last forever vs the other plastic models I've been seeing. I like things that are built like Sherman tanks.

As I just posted on another post relative to the same subject, been using my Bitz since the early '70s without a hiccup.
