I'm really not that fat I had on 3 layers under those pants. It was chilly laying on the ground and I won't hunt out of a blind if I'm rifle hunting.

No you're not but that doe certainly is! What did her age end up being?

I don't know, we don't age deer, but she was young. We shoot the smart ones she stomped and snorted at me 3 times. The ranch rule is, if it stomps and snorts it gets shot Saturday evening there were about 26 whitetail does in the field, 1, 4 and a 6 point buck and 50+ Axis in the neighbors field. My buddy shot a large WT doe that turned out to be a nubbin. He saw "her" last weekend and thought it was odd that a doe was chasing does. Now we know it wasnt a doe! We guessed he was around 2.

The one and only deer I've taken with a bow was a nubbin so I know the feeling.

We're glad we got him out of there. Don't want him passing that around!

Here is a cool little book to add to your hunting kit. Congrads on the deer.

Thanks! thats pretty neat. I havent hunted anywhere where I was told I had to age the deer so I've never done it.
