Shooting deer froma tree and ladder stand

I'm a rookie when it comes to bowhunting from a 15ft. ladderand a 18ft. tree stand my buddy has set up on his ranch.Where should I place my pin on a deer at 20 yards?

My approach is shoot for oppisite shoulder....whether I am 4ft or 30 ft....the biggest key is bend at the waist.

Do a "search" for the information you are wanting. There have several recent threads addressing your question and concerns.

Then lean over at the waist. The point is maintain your "T" don't drop that arm.

Aim point shoudn't really matter from 15' as not that much of an angle change. I mainly hunt out of the 15' ladders and like them - when I can find a halfway straight tree! Just wait for animal to quarter away and aim at opposite shoulder. A sharp broadhead placed there will do the trick.

Thanks guys.I shot my bow from our 12ft. balcony at 22 yard at my deer target.I aimed at the 12 ring and hit 2inches high but both shots were in the lungs. My 1st shot was far back on thesince I've never shot from that high before. My confidence is high for this weekend.Going back to buddies ranch in Uvalde to hunt.I probably will be hunting from a 11ft. tripod.
