I use a Primos Hardwood Grunter. Have had good results with it. The Tru Talker isn't bad either, but I really like the Hardwood Grunter for its versitility.

I just got the primos uproar today. plannin on tryin it out this weekend but so far i like the sound of it, then again its not my opinion on if the sound is good enough or not!

What I purchased for this season as well. it sounds great, but I am concerned about how deep it is. We will see, I know it did a good job spooking some does I had at the feeder the other night when I was trying to leave after dark.

I like the hardwood grunts too. Just something about them. Wood vs plastic, I just like the tone a little better.

Same here. Last year right at dusk I saw what I thought to be pigs about 60 yards from my blind. Running out of light quick and giving up on deer for the day I decided to give them a deep grunt to see if they would move and determine if they really were pigs. All of the sudden I hear some loud crashing behind me and I turn and look a small buck and 2 doe came running within 6 feet of the blind to see what the noise was. Medic's call will be the only grunt tube I use now.
