Using a Target Bow for Hunting, Too

I recently came into a nice PSE Moneymaker. I like it; it's a pretty ugly bow and it's not light but forgiving. Could I use this bow in the field? It's all black, so it should not stand out much.

    What do you guys think?

Don't see a reason you couldn't use it and black to

What are the specs on the bow? IBO? Arrow weight? Kinetic Energy? All these should be considered before you take down a critter with it IMO.

If it flings an arrow, you can kill a deer.

I shoot a Mathews Outback target model--the riser is a greenish, but shiny color with black limbs. Killed a buck and a doe with it last year. Deer can't tell if it is a target bow. Main thing--must have sufficient draw weight to shoot the "right" arrow/broadhead combination accurately and consistently.

There's no reason you can't hunt with it. The main difference between a hunting bow and a target bow is the paint job. Go for it!

A 20# fiberglass bow will kill a deer.
