    lights for sight pins

I have an HHA single pin sight. I need to install a light in order to see my sight pins, but I will have to drill and tap my own holes in my sights. There are several different lights available. Which ones are better and why?

Get the light made by HHA for their sights. Your scope does not have the mounting hole on the top ? Blue Burst http://www.hhasports.com/products/accessoires.htm

I have the blue burst. It screws right into my OL 5519. Works well.

HHA does not make a light to fit my scope. Apparently, I have the 3000 series.

I have a 3000, and thought about getting one of those little Photon Micro-Lights and using camo duct tape to attach it so the light shines just over the fiber optic wraps on the scope but keeps stray light from leaking out. If that seems a little too redneck, find out what the specs are for the hole that attaches the Blueburst to the other OL series scopes. It should be simple enough to drill and tap. That way you can maintain that HHA look.
