Destroyer 350 or z7

I may make a change in the near future to one of the fast bows. What do you think of these two and or other speed bows out on the market?

Destroyer out of those two. I would personally recommend the Elite Pulse. I shot the Pulse and it replaced the Destroyer on the top of my want list.

Where can i shoot one in the austin area?

I dont really consider the Z7 a speed bow. Out of these 2 bows I picked the Z7 and I shot them side by side the day I made the decision.
The Destroyer was a little more aggressive and has more hand shock than the Z7. Although the Destroyer was faster, the Z7 had a nicer draw cycle. I liked both bows but went with Z7.

your comparing apples and oranges the 340 destroyer with the longer brace ht would be a better comparison to the z7 just my .02 and we all no what that means nothing

A friend of mine and I shot both the 340 and the Z7 side by side this week at Bowzone and the 340 wins that one IMO, he also thought so, as he walked out with a new 340.... Not saying the Z7 isn't a smooth bow but the 340 is smoother!!! Didn't get a chance to shoot the 350, it may be a bit more radical than the 340 b/c of the shorter brace height...

Me, I won't be trading my Elite Judge for either of those bows, it's faster than both of them too... If you haven't shot the Elite's I would highly recommend doing so before making your final decision...

Where can i shoot one in the austin area?

The rep Elite bows are in north TX right now and headed to OK in the next week. They will be back in the Houston area in a couple weeks and I believe there was talk of them heading out to the Austin/San Antonio area. I will talk to the rep and see what plans he has and try to get it posted on here for anyone interested.

340 definitely draw better than the Z7 and has more speed to boot. I prefer the binary draw though, if you are used to a single cam the Z7 might feel better. The 2011 Elite pulse beats the 340/350 IMO.

I love the 350 I shot it and the Z7 and the 350 has a better wall and is dead in my hand and the Z7 seemed to shake more in my hand when I shot. Both great bows and I just thought the 350 was overall better. Shoot em all and pick the best one for you. Just happens that the DESTROYER 350 was best for me.

Elite's 2011 Pulse, Pure and Hunter ( all bows 29"DL,RH and 60lb DW) will be back in the Houston area after this weekend. they will be heading to a few of the shops in the Houston/Dayton/Willis area the following weekend which would be Saturday November 7th. the weekend after that I'm going to try and do Bryan and Austin. if your interested PM me and i will confirm as soon as i have a set schedule and give you my cell# to contact with.
