I have use the 2 blade & 3 blade splitfires( as shown) since they started making them, and have had great results. No o-rings are needed for this type.It should have opened up in the cheap target, the retainer sleeves may be messed up or it might have had dirt in them. Broadheads are like fishing lures you will just have to find one that works for you.Good luck.

              ok thanks

i was thinking of getting diff bh couse these one will not open well they may fold out a hair but deff not open, also they fly really low about 4-5 in lower than a feild point,

i do have f15 exp bh but they break and if i hit i want to know that it will cut all the way threw !

and i have two crimson trace helicals witch fly great just not sure if its a big enough cut !

Try the Meatseekers or Slick Trick.

They should open on an animal and if those heads will not fly with your field points it is doubtful any will fly like your field points. how do you know they are not opening?

well the f15 and the crimson trace helicals fly like my feild points , little to know drop or side movement

these hit low 4-5 inches, and they are not opening ! how i know is that they are sticking out the back of the block and they are not open !???

im new to bow hunting but these have little friction plates on them that i think hold them in place , you can see it a little in the open pic , any how i dont think they are closeing after pass threw

                          They are opening.
When the friction of the block makes the broadhead go from260 fps+ to 0 fps nearly instantly, the blades are slamming forward and closing.

ill shoot them some tomorrow and check them out again ,,

the blocke is a cheap bass pro shop block , thin layers of foam sheets stacked up and wrapped on the out side

its cheap and i am already getting pass threws on this target had it less than 3 months or so

                            thanks for the info

X2 If you look close at the back of the target you will find the cuts from all three blades. The draw back of the spitfire is that the locking plate will wear fast and allow the blades to open in flight or launch. Use only one from the set to practice and hunt with the other two. I used this head before changing to the 2 inch cut Grim Reaper.
