Pse omen vs mathews z7

I've really been pondering on buying a new bow and I'm torn between these two. I wanted to see what your guys thoughts were on the two.

I bought and really like the Z7. Didn't shoot the omen so not much help.

Basically two radically different bows. Get the 2 side by side and shoot them and decide.

Im not crazy about the PSE draw cycles whereas the Z7 was alot smoother and Realy liked the valley it had...

Whats more important to you - speed or smooth draw? The Omen will send a typical arrow 30-40 fps faster than a Z7 but does draw a little rougher. I don't mind the draw at all and I like the speed a lot because it allows you to shoot a single pin out to about 35 yards with no adjustments. Whatever you do make sure you shoot both, as mentioned they are very different.

Definitely, the Monster is Mathews version of the Omen (speed bow).

get them both, shoot targets with the omen and go hunting with the z7

I've been shooting a PSE for a while now so the draw probably wont be a shock to me. I do plan on shooting both but I was just curious what your guys thoughts would be. Thanks for the comments fellas!

PSE is probably the most unsmooth draw cycle i have ever seen on any newer bow....If you are wanting speed I would look at the Matthews monster or bowtech destroyer. I know you will hear this alot but let the bow choose you. Shoot both bows back to back. then make your decision.

Wait a little longer to get the PSE EVO dream season it shoots great and IBO 345 shot it today
