    Mathews lx

What's anybody know about a Mathews lx. I am unfamiliar with this model. I figured it should still be a nice bow coming from Mathews. Thanks in advance for the info.

I've owned two of them. They are no longer available new from Mathews, so finding a used one is the only option. (Unless some bow shop somewhere happened to have one on a back shelf, that is.) This is a very efficient bow, giving a lot of energy return for the amount put into it by the shooter. By today's standards, they are somewhat hard to draw and do not feel nearly as smooth at the shot as the parallel limb and past-parallel limb models being made today. As I recall, the amount of let off is adjustable to two differenct settings - a rarity for a Mathews bow. For the right price, I would still consider this a solid bow.
