    arrow rest help

I've had the same style arrow rest since I got my bow in the 90s. (Darton Excel)

Well, the place I got the bow from is since long gone and Archery Country, in Austin, has never seen what the orginal shop hooked me up with.

    Here's a few shots

With the arrow in the rest you can see how it supposed to work to keep the arrow in place

My problem is when I draw back, the white piece which hold the arrow in place has worn, so it has cause the arrow to come un-nocked at full draw. It doesn't do it all the time, but enough for me to either to need to replace the part or get a new rest.

If anyone knows where I can get a similar accessory, please, send me a pm.

Haven't seen that arrow holder before, but the rest is TM Hunter. Used one for years. Looks like you need to move the rest closer to the riser and your problem might go away.

The white piece is supposed to flip up out of the way as you draw the bow. It is not intended to hold the arrow on the rest while at full draw, and that might be why it is knocking the arrow off the rest. try drawing the bow with the white piece flipped up, and see if you can make that happen. If not, you might try opening the gap in the fingers just a tad, so the arrow rides a little deeper in the groove. Those TM hunters will teach you how to draw your bow slowly and quietly for sure!!!

I have something similular to that on a bow, it was purchased and installed at All Star Archery in Dallas a few years back, but i don't recall the name. I will look when i get home and see if there is a name on it.

They aren't any different than any other prong rest as far as drawing. Loves me some Bodoodle bro!

          Hi Glenn!
