3-5-7 Magic Numbers But Not For Lotto

Today I was watching a guy sight his bow in, he had a target at 3 yards, 5 yards and 7 yards. I asked him what he was doing and he said that the 3 yard target was equal to 40 yards, the 5 to 30 and the 7 to 20.
Once he sights in at those distances he can go to the actual 20, 30 and 40 yards and maybe only slight adjustments will be necesary.

I am not a arrow trajectory expert but what do you guys think?

It works great like that. Back in the good ole days, you could do it all indoors when it was raining outside. It will require very small adjustments to get all in the center, but it is better and safer that flinging arrows all over the county! You should try it if you already pins set for those distances, and see for yourself how accurate it really is.

i tried this and my arrows went through the target, hit the fence and bounced back , they come at you pretty quick.

yep good way to remove old fletching also.

i would be afraid to loose an arrow from my z7 indoors...i wouldnt wanna blow an arrow through a target and into a wall or door
