String Stop

I am having problems. I had a string stop silencer put on my bow. No matter how I set it up, It is loud. I have put a little tension on it and even a space tween the string and the stop. Seems to not matter at all. Wut am I doing wrong ????????????????????????

Did you have the string served where the string contacts the sting stopper?

Depends on the string stop. Some of the rubbers arent as soft as other which will make a slap sound when hit. Btw the way dont think it will make a difference if it is served or not the serving is just to prtect the string.

I set by the way the guy at the archery shop said to do it and it was loud. He said just barely make ciontact with the string. I even put more pressure on the string, no difference. I also gapped it, still no change
