    Point weight

I recently got a new bow set up and called Carbon Express to get their recommendation on the proper arrow/spine. I've only used 100gr points/broadheads and didn't have much reason to change. I haven't been happy with how the bow shoots up til now...bought some 125 field points and groups tightened up and arrows seem to be flying straighter.

    My question is this:
Would I need to increase or decrease my draw weight to make my arrows tune with 100 gr points?

    FWIW, my setup consists of:
    Hoyt Turbohawk 60lbs/27.5" draw
    Carbon Express Mayhem Hunter 350 @ 28"

Its odd they pointed you to the 350's... Cut at 28 at 60 you should be in the 250 range and be fine? see if you can get a hold of a few 250's use 100 gr points and see what happens.. but anwser to you question increase to 65 ans see what happens too..

crank it up or let it off and find out, nothing lost but a little time.

Those arrows should be stiff in spine for your set up, but they should fly fine. if they show to be a little to stiff, increase the draw weight or go to a heavier point. Always better to be stiffer in spine than to be to weak.
