Fixed blade that flies like a fieldpoint???

Is there any such thing as a fixed blade broadhead that flies like a fieldpoint? If so, which ones?

If your bow is tuned and you have the right arrows/fletching combo, then almost any fixed blade will fly like your field points as long as they spin true on your shaft. If your bow is not tuned, then mechanicals might not fly like your filed points. The smaller the cutting diameter on a fixed blade, the easier they will be to get to fly with your field points. that is the reason you see a lot of the fixed blades having 1" to 1 1/4" cutting diameter especially with the speed bows out today.

      Slick Tricks.

I shoot the Grizz Trick and it's spot on with the field point out to forty yards which is farther than I care to shoot our wired deer.

      IMO...

        Slick tricks,
shoot great & have had great sucess with this broadhead. Have tried Muzzies & Thunderheads both are good heads but the STs seem to shoot better for me.

I shot G5 montec (100 Grain) @ Elk and Whitetail. They fly just like my field points. Never had any problems with them

            What Mudslinger said.

From my trials, Slick Tricks, Shuttle T-locs, and Atoms fly good out of not-so-tuned bows.
There may be others, but I've personally shot those three.

              G5 Strikers are pretty close.

What mudslinger said, tuning is the key not the BH. But some are more forgiving of marginal tuning. Get it tuned right and shoot whatever you want

Another fan of the slick trick, it's probably due to the small blade size leaving less surface for wind to affect.

I'm of the school of thought of just pick a broadhead you want to shoot, and just adjust your sights. I shoot muzzy 100's and now NAP hellrazor's. I shoot the practice heads of both and make the very slight changes to my sight pins. When you hit the target where you want, you are done. The field points are now back in storage until the season is done. I can't get myself to rely on thinking if a broadhead is going to shoot the same as a field point so I shoot the practice heads as that warm fuzzy feeling of knowing the arrow is going to hit where I want it to by actually seeing that it does for myself.

                            Well said.

                            Another tip:

Before pulling arrows out of your foam target, unscrew the practice broadheads... (if they are sticking out of the back of your target)
It will save a lot of wear and tear and make the foam last longer.
