    game winner brand

was just curious if any of you guys have some of the camo clothing from game winner, i know academy caries it not sure who else. i don't really know anything about this brand. living in abilene there aren't many choices and i hate buying stuff like that online because i actually like to see what i am getting. anyway if i only plan on hunting a dozen or so days out of the year would this stuff be ok, it comes in all the same patterns as the expensive stuff. i figured i could get eveything i needed, pants, shirt, jacket, outer pants, hate, face mask, gloves boots all of under or around $200 so what you guys think

i have some shirts. they seem fine to me. a lot of the camo is for the hunter, not the prey. i never match, i dont care about brand, and i see plenty of game. go for it. they make a great ground blind chair too btw

Don't cut yourself short on the boots. One bad pair of boots can ruin a hunt, a weekend or a entire season. As far as the outerwear, don't get too heavy of a coat/jacket and outerpants/bibs. You can always layer your clothing (which is better anyway) than having too bulky of a jacket/bibs to try to contend with while bowhunting. It may be a little tough to get everything you need at that price but maybe you can find a deal on some used hunting boots here in the classifieds. Usually a few for sale in there. Good luck this season

thanks guys for the info, i agree i figured i spend the most on boots, i think the pants were about $25-$35 each and i think the jacket was about $60 found one hat for $10 and one for $30 and some gloves about $20, i just figure with as much hunting as i will be able to do this should work just fine now if i start hunting more then maybe i will get a little better stuff as time and money permit

I have some of their shirts/pants/etc and don't have a problem with it. It seems to wear out a little faster than the more expensive stuff, but that's why it's cheap. If you're only hunting a dozen or so days a year, like you said, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I believe it's Academy's house brand. Spend your money on boots!

I had a backpack that was crap, but that's what you get for $30 but I think most of their clothing would be fine. I don't put alot of stock in wearing camo, I do nearly all the time but thats just because they are they clothes I buy to hunt in.

GAME WINNER is academys in house brand made exclusively for them. Their neoprene boots are awesome but not insulated so wont work in really cold weather. Everything they carry is so cheap. Quality product. Be looking for ALOT OF STUFF that academy sells to be not carried anymore bc they are going to their brand more....and their stands/ladders look good and are cheap.
