Arrows hitting low all of a sudden

Ive been shooting for the past few weeks and have been dead on. Yesterday I went out and shot 30 arrows or so and all were consistently hitting 2-3 inches low. I am not getting contact with my rest but think it may still be the culprit. It is a drop zone and I think the launcher arm may be falling away to quickly. Only reason I think this is becuase my friend had the same problem with his with the same results. On his the internal spring was wearing out. Any ideas or suggestions?

Check your limbs! I had a similar issue with my reezen 2 weeks ago. Spot on for months then suddenly low a few inches. After shooting for 2 hours 1 night I discovered a crack/splinter in my lower limb. Never dryfired or anything just out of the blue. It may be something else entirely but I would at least check carefully. Use cotton balls and run over the suffice of the limbs. It will snag if there's a fracture.

Check your peep or your loop, if your loop move up any you would be shooting low.

Your rest arm falling faster will not cause you to shoot low. If it is not comming all the way up then it would shoot lower, if it is not comming all the way up it would shoot lower.

Thanks. Im going to try and get by the shop one day this week and have someone look at it. Hopefully its not the limb issue.

strings could have stretched and settled some as well. Maybe loss of poundage..... Just some other things to ponder I reckon

I would check your rest, nock, and peep to make sure they haven't moved.

ancher point, are you sure that you are drawing to the same ancher point each time, if you have not shot in a wile then maybe your are anchering higher that would put you donwn on your shot !

but yeah could be a lont of things

As others have said, nock point, rest, peep, or sights moved on you. Limbs or strings could be the other.

First I would worry only if the group changes. One session could be light change or sight picture. If the group expands tommorrow, I would worry. If the paper tune is the same, and the speed hasn't changed, move the sight and keep grouping.

Likely it's your form, rest a while & shoot some more when it cools a little.

Check your nock on your string or if you use a loop. See if your arrow nock is high causing you to suddenly shoot low.

                          shooting low

If this happened over night, it is probably your anchor point changed. I would not do anything on one shoot. If you have a similar grouping for 2 shoots then consider the equipment. A 1/4 inch shift in anchor point will do this.

I would think that it is a change in nock, peep or anchor point if the groupings are low, these are the cheapest and easiest to fix.

first thing I always check is my
                              1. sight
                              2. nocking point
                              3.rest
in that order. make sure you haven't had to "adjust" your anchor point. If so, might be your peep.
