What type of Vanes to use

I am about to purchase some new Easton Full Metal Jackets with 340 spines.
What recommendation do you have in regards to the type of vanes to be installed. What is best for Hunting purpose?

    Blazers 2"
    Duravanes 3-4"
    Feathers 3-4"

    Thanks for the Help

I use FlexFletch FFP360's on my hunting arrows with as much helical as I can manage..

I have been shooting Blazers since they came out and love them. On my 340 FMJ's they work great.

With that being said, yesterday I was bored so I did some with 5 vanes...... they flew awesome. Will this be my new set up? More likely not. My out look is this..... if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

IMO you can't go wrong with blazers.

It looks like Blazers are the majority favorite.
Do you sacrifice any accuracy with the use of blazers vs. the other type of vanes?

Anybody use helical on blazers? I loved helical on 4 inch vanes but I have been using offset on my blazers.

We install vane tec on most of the shafts, some with fusion 2" and 3". We have used the norway predator and 3" duravanes. I have not found one to be more forgiving nor better for bh flight out to 60yds.

I just started fletching my own arrows with the arizona EZ fletch tool, the one I have is the carbon right helical and I am using it with blazers. It has worked well for me and the arrows hit true with my other arrows that I bought pre-fletched.

I am one of the few more than likely... I run 3" feathers on my compound and 5" feathers on my trad gear

I use 4 inch Vanetecs they seem to fly fixed heads better than Blazers for me.

I use the new Arizona EZ Fletch Mini tool to fletch Blazer vanes on my arrows.
This tool applies an extremely aggressive helical to the Blazers, and they fly extremely well.
I've been waiting for a fletching tool that would do this for years, and finally a company addressed the problem of applying aggressive helical to the short vanes.

Rocky, have you tried the Bohning Blazer jig and if so what is your opinion?
