The new primals are very well built, very light and very solid. The riser is machined aluminum and the Limbs are carbon fiber which makes for an overall weight of 3.9-4 pounds. Theres a version for all shooters young and old with peak weights of 40-50, 50-60, 60-70 lbs. The IBO speed is rated at 330, and the let off is 80%. Axle to Axle the bow comes in at about 32 inches which is great for tree stands. Overall this bow is alot power in a decent sized package. The draw is very smoothe and the i-glide system works very well. The G-fade is actually a really good idea and seems like it would work great in the field. We've sold quite a few at the Bass Pro i work at. But what ive seen from tunning the bow, is that adjusting them to your draw length can be a real tough at times, half the cams guts are the mod's. But once you figer it out, its not too bad. The Premier package comes with some G5 products, but id suggest you buy bare bow for 150 less and fix it the way you want it. The bow shoots very smoothe and the dual cams are very aggressive and sling the crap outta arrows. As fast as this bow shoots, it is very smoothe. I plan i picking one up soon. Thats my thougths on the Bow, and remember that the Primal is produced by Bowtech so your getting quailty when you purchase this bow.

Your rightsorry about that false info. Everything else in the review is correct. I dont know where i got that idea. But yes Diamond are produced by bowtech, but our in house brand "Redhead" also have a line of compound bows that are made by Diamond for BP. And i actually believe Ross archery is owned by Bowtech as well now. Sorry again for the mess up. These days its hard to remember who owns who

I work at Gander in the archery dept. Not a bad shooting bow Draw cycle is not too bad. Hand shock is not bad and the speed is good. It's a shooter the down side is I feel for the over all bow the price is too high. You would be better off with a Dimond Black Ice for over all performance and price. j.m.o.

Like its been said, the primal is a great built bow. I personally found the primal to fit me better over the diamonds. with my set up, at my draw length and weight the primal gets more speed for me, and in my own opinion it feels the best. I absolutely love my primal and looking forward to giving many animals a missing pulse this season. everything read above is correct on the primal. except maybey the let off. if you adjust the draw stop just right (this is not recommended for everyone) you can actually have it set to almost 90% let off without risking bow damage. my bow at 63 pounds can be drawn on a adraw board and the weight of the bow will hold the bow at full draw. i dont recommend everyone try this cause you can overload the limbs and have an explosion waiting to happen. its a real fine line but if a proffesional sets your bow up you will be very pleased.
