    Single Pin Mishaps

Anybody every had one in the field? I am leaning towards an HHA, but watched a guy miss an elk by not checking his dial. Thanks.

Heard many people use the wrong pin on a standard multi-pin also. Lots can happen in the heat of the moment. 15-25 yards and I dont have to touch my slider. Out to 35 I can hold ~ 4" over.

Same with me, when hunting I set it on 25 and I just make a small adjustment depending on animal range. Caveat - When practicing at home prior to and during season, I do not move my pin ever. I practice at ranges from 10 to 45 so I know how much to "adjust" my hold spot. After a while it comes 2nd nature where to hold for the range your shooting. It could be just as easily done by removing all but one pin on a normal site for typical hunting ranges if you know your bow.
