I use Tracer Nocks by Easton. In my opinion lighted nocks are well worth the money. It just depends on personal preference.

I have bought em, I have made em, I have used em. When I made them myself I messed up as many as I made. The best and most dependable ones I have come across so far is The Carbon Express Lazer Eyes.

I've been using homemade ones and recently picked up a Nockturnal and it seems to be working well. Haven't put it through a critter or nothing yet to find out if the blood, hair and other junk would get in the hole and screw it up. Can't really say I've noticed any difference in arrow flight out to 50yds.

If you like to recover most all your arrows, then you will like lighted nocks. They have saved me a ton of $$ in recovering arrows, both misses and hits. They also help you determine where an animal was when it was hit in low light conditions. If the animal still has the arrow sticking out of it (such as a monster hog), it will help determine which direction it ran in the dark.

Lighted nocks are just another tool in helping to recover animals, time, and $$.

I use the green lumenoks, they do not affect my arrow flight at all. They are great just before dark when shooting an animal. They are really a must have, I tried making the homemade ones and they do work, but are not comparable to the lumenoks. You get what you pay for with these.

I use "nockturnal" (not sure on the spelling) but you can turn them off real ez, no magnets and they are super bright. No problems with flight.....

there are a few out there. Nockturnals, Lazer eyes, Tracers, Lumenocks, G force. I work at BPS in the archery department and i have range tested them all for multiple shot use, brightness and ease of use the story kinda goes like this. i dont like tracers because i had alot of them fail and i do not like the whole velcro battery on my riser thing. lumenock's were about middle of the pack, some worked some didnt, some would work a few shots some would quit after 10 or so. the lazer eyes i had about the same feeling as the lumenocks. tthe nocturnal and the gforce i found to be the easiest to use, most dependable, longest lasting and ease of use. as far as arrow flight diffrence i saw verry minimal from any unit. me personally, i use the g force because im a g5 guy i guess. i do highly recommend using them. i pulled a shot on a deer that had it not been for the lighted nock and slow motion video i would have probably pushed and jumped him during recovery and never had found him.
