    Replacing Rage blades

Has anyone done this before or do it regularly? I just replaced the blades in 6 of the 2 blade and it was a giant pain in the rear end. It is almost worth paying the extra $20 and getting three new ones and a practice head. Maybe there is an easier way to go about it than what I was doing?

The ones with allen head screws, no problems, the ones with pins i gave up on and threw them away.

Try cleaning them up and just Sharpin the blades.

Ya, i did that once..Never again..The roll pins were SUPER hard and even with a punch they were a PITA to get in.. I thought they replaced the allen wrench with the pin..Guess its the other way around..

The allen screw set up is a piece of cake if you have your glasses on. I remove them to replace or resharpen the blades.

I replaceed blades in 3 heads with the roll pens a couple of months ago and will definately just buy the blades next time. I ended up drilling a hole in a short 2X4 to drive the old pin into with a punch but well worth my $20 to buy new heads next time.

I believe the instructions say to use the new replacement pin to drive the old pen out....????
