Got my new strings now what???

I got some new vapor trails on my 08 Marquis. Do I need to wax them right away or should I wait or does it matter? They just seem really dry compared tot he set I just took off. The peep is also already twisting, but the guy ho put them on said to shoot about 100 shots and if it moved bring it back and everything should be settled in by then and it can be adjusted. Does this sound right?

Yes, after a 100 shots they should be about settled in. He may take the peep out and put it back in straight or twist the string. It shouldn't move much at all, if any after that. May want to wax them just a bit.
