Just picked up my bow from Smithfield . . .

And it's shooting great. I needed a new string and cables, cat whiskers, string leaches and some arrows. Got a new stabilizer too while I was at it.

He had me shooting on at 20 yds in about 3 min. I was afraid I was going to be all off and have to do some walk back tuning here at home but I'm dead on out to 35 yards. Haven't shot the longer pins as I ran out of pull.

I'm ready for the Diamond C this weekend and confident in my ability to take anything out to 35 yards anyhow.

A big thanx to Smithfield for a great job!

How long did it take them? What kinda strings did you get installed?

I dropped it off Friday evening right at closing time and they are closed Sunday and Monday. I just got the zebra string and cable set up from Mathews. I had the originals on there so I guess they are pretty good quality.

Yep and everytime I've been there and needed something I was given the time and information I needed along with the service.

Just north of the intersection of N. Beach St and Long Ave in north Fort Worth. Little industrial looking buildings on the west side of Beach before you hit the rail road tracks. Or just south of the tracks on the right if coming from 820. The address is 3733 N Beach St.

yeah they are great. I hadn't shot in years and he got me shooting at 20 yards right on the bull after talking to him for 5 minutes (of course he had me shooting a BAAAAAAD demo bow so it was the bow not me) I'm going to get mine rigged there just to be safe

good luck at the Diamond C

I am new to bow hunting. Never even picked one up. I bought a used Mathews off craigslist and needed to get the draw length adjusted. I went in and Rhonda and Stan were extremely kind and helpful. They gave me the option to find a used cam for a cheaper price on some bow hunting websites or order a new one. After the new one came in, they fitted me for some practice arrows and gave me a mini lesson. My first two were high - after Stan adjusted my site, the next 4 were within 2 in. Excellent customer service and a quality shop! It's worth the 50min drive from Waxahachie and I will be a dedicated customer.

I went for a blackbuck preferably but would have taken a decent axis. I passed all that I had shots and and ended up with just a sow and some good memories. Oh, and a squirrel.
