My friend told me that he had been playing around with his trad arrow and broadheads on his compound and had good luck so I gave it a try. My normal compound arrow and broadhead combo is a Slick Trick Mag 100gr on a Beeman ICS 400. The set up weighs around 400grains. I shot my Traditional arrow Gold Tip 5575 with 5" shield feathers and a Zepher Sasquach broadhead total weighing over 700grains. I use a 100 grain insert in the broadheads and also use the bleeders. These are the most devastating broadheads I have ever used. I shot them out of my GT-500 at 60lbs with a whisker biscuit. They shot great!!! I had to use my second pin but they were dead on out to 20yards! I am thinking about trying this combo out on some pigs and feel pretty confident that it will make a mess. Here are some comparison pics to my slick tricks and a previous entry wound on a pig I shot with the Sasquach out of a 53lb longbow. The Sasquach has an 1.5in cutting diameter.
